FIRM RECERTIFICATION APPLICATION

In order to receive the National Balancing Commission Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing Firm Certification, the following requirements must be met:

  • Demonstrate possession of all required instruments and tools, along with proof of current NIST traceable calibration as outlined in the schedule below.
     

  • ​Possess a reputation for quality and integrity.
     

  • Commit in writing to abide by the National Balancing Commission Code of Conduct and be subject to review and discipline by the NBC Board.
     

  • Agree to perform testing, adjusting, and balancing in accordance with currently published National Balancing Commission standards and procedures.
     

  • Agrees to protect National Balancing Commission Copyrights of all forms, procedures, standards, and training materials from non-certified individuals, except as required for publishing field reports.
     

  • Firm must not have been found legally culpable of any criminal actions.
